Jordan
Adama Abramson is excited about her performance in DEFINING INFINITY. Adama is a Boston native living in Louisville. Their previous performances include: TO BATTLE (Jo), AS YOU LIKE IT (Silvius), ENTER GHOST (Ophelia), THE LEGEND OF GEORGIA MCBRIDE (Jo), THE CAKE (Macy), COMMON THREADS (Ensemble), GLORIA: A LIFE (Dorothy/ Ensemble) and NOTE (Sam).
Co-Director
Despite stints working, performing, and teaching in Chicago, Denver, and New York City, Shannon is Louisville, KY born and bred! She attended YPAS, earned a BFA at SMU, and a Master’s at NYU. In 2001, Shannon co-founded LFL, and serves as Co-Artistic Director to this day. Most recent performances include FROM BARDSTOWN TO BROADWAY: THE ROAD TO VOTES FOR WOMEN/THE SUFFRAGE DRIVING & WALKING TOUR, and NOTE by Allie Fireel, and recent directing credits include the LFL original DEFINING INFINITY and Diana Grisant’s THE PATRON SAINT OF LOSING SLEEP. She oversees the development of the company and the execution of its mission.She is proud to be a roster artist for the KY Arts Council, a board member of the Fund for the Arts and the Arts and Cultural Alliance, and a member of Alternate ROOTS, The Network of Ensemble Theatres, The Alliance for Theatre in Education, and The Louisville Theatre Community.
Board Operator
Sarah BE (she/her) Board Operator Sarah BE is a HopePunk performance artist who creates work that asks the big questions and activates kindness as a radical act. Originally from Johnstown, PA; she holds an MFA in Performance from the University of Louisville. Her mission is to fuse creative practices into everyday life and show others the value of weaponizing optimism. She can currently be seen onstage at area schools as Mac in LFL’s MAC’S WORLD.
Costume Designer
Hannah Brooks is a local costumes and props designer who occasionally dabbles in non-traditional set design. Hannah has been designing around town since summer of 2017. They have worked with Bunbury Theatre Company, The Kentucky Opera, StageOne, and Commonwealth Theatre Center. Their performances with LFL include THE SUFFRAGE DRIVING & WALKING TOUR and COMMON THREADS. They have been a Looking for Lilith company member since 2023. When not working on a show, Hannah enjoys drawing and making stickers. Thanks to Colt for your neverending support. For KM.
Devising Director
Trina received a B.S. in Performance Studies with a minor in Latin American Studies from Northwestern University after attending the Youth Performing Arts School in Louisville, KY. She has performed at Actors Theatre of Louisville, Manhattan Theatre Source, CenterStage NY, and worked with Bridgework Theatre, Necessary Theatre, Blue Apple Players, StageOne and Pandora Productions. For 7 years, she worked with CUNY’s Creative Arts Team in NYC schools. During that time, she helped co-found LFL. With LFL, she has helped create, produce, promote and/or performed in most of its original works. Favorite performances include: MARISOL (New World Players), THE LARAMIE PROJECT (Pandora Productions), WHAT MY HANDS HAVE TOUCHED (LFL), FABRIC, FLAMES AND FERVOR (LFL), BODY AWARENESS (LFL), CHOICES (LFL) and THE PATRON SAINT OF LOSING SLEEP (LFL). She is part of LFL’s Marketing and Communications team. She is also a Master Teacher of the Alba Method/Alba Emoting and has lived in Chile since 2020.
Sound Designer, Live Music and Sound
Erin Fitzgerald, a.k.a. A Girl Named Earl, is a multi-directional artist and community arts enthusiast. As a singer-songwriter, her primary instrument is her voice, which may be accompanied by a variety of other instruments such as guitar, dulcimer, ukulele, glockenspiel, washboard, and assorted percussion items. Erin has contributed music, sound design, and live sound for productions with Blue Apple Outreach, Looking for Lilith Theatre Company, Pandora Productions, and Highview Arts Center. She currently splits her time between Louisville and Lexington and is grateful to be involved in the creative communities of both towns.
Vanessa & Production Manager
Jill Marie Guelda is a multimedia artist, designer, and creative Louisville native. Since 2006, she has worked almost every tech job theatre has to offer here in Louisville, besides hanging lights (terrified of heights). She currently is the Digital Marketing Manager for LFL and is on the Board of Directors with Highview Arts Center. She specializes in set design, prop design, and production management. She is super excited to dive back into the role of Vanessa and to be part of this ever evolving story.
Alex
Michael Guarnieri is an actor and writer who is thrilled to be joining Looking for Lilith for the first time. Michael has most recently been seen in GALLATHEA with three witches shakespeare, THE INHERITANCE with Pandora Productions, and many other shows in the last two years. For Nex Benedict.
Co-Director
Ebony Jordan is a Louisville-based actor and teaching artist whose theatrical home is Looking for Lilith, where she’s also a company member. She has worked for other companies such as StageOne Theatre, Kentucky Shakespeare, Commonwealth Theatre Center, Josephine Sculpture Park, Theatre [502], and Faith Works Studios. Past acting credits include FOR COLORED GIRLS WHO HAVE CONSIDERED SUICIDE WHEN THE RAINBOW IS ENUF (Faith Works), LAWBREAKERS (StageOne), THE PATRON SAINT OF LOSING SLEEP (LFL), CLASS OF ‘70 (LFL) and the 2019 production of DEFINING INFINITY (LFL).
Set Designer
Daniel Keown is excited to be a part of his first of hopefully many productions with Looking for Lilith. He recently entered Louisville’s theatre scene when he helped create the scenic art for Redline Performing Arts’ production of SISTER ACT in the summer of 2022 and since has worked on their production of INTO THE WOODS, Pandora Productions’ rendition of SUGAR IN OUR WOUNDS, and their collaborative production of KINKY BOOTS. A versatile artist and performer, he thrives as a freelance graphic designer, photographer, and commissioned artist in the vibrant cultural landscape of Louisville, Kentucky.
Ensemble
Keith is thrilled to be working with Looking for Lilith again. Previously he appeared in the LFL production of ORLANDO. With StageOne, Keith appeared in THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER, TALES OF A FOURTH-GRADE NOTHING, LAST STOP ON MARKET STREET, and DON’T TELL ME I CAN’T FLY. He’s also acted with Kentucky Shakespeare Festival. Recently Keith co-directed the world premiere of LIFECYCLE OF A BLACKBERRY with LFL and FORBIDDEN BROADWAY with Highview Arts Center. With StageOne, he directed GHOST, THE GIVER and MONSTER OF MINE, and directed THREADS OF OUR HISTORY for Actors Theatre. He is also a teaching artist for Commonwealth Theatre Center, Actors Theatre, Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, and Shakespeare Behind Bars. He is currently working on a one-person piece—OVER MY DEAD HUSBAND.
Stage Manager
Rachel Meadors holds a BS in Theatre Arts from the University of Louisville. Originally from Williamsburg, Kentucky, Rachel moved to Louisville to pursue their degree and a theatre career. She has worn many hats in her time in theatre, from actor to stage manager to director to playwright and so on. You might have seen them most recently as Denis and Corin in AS YOU LIKE IT with three witches shakespeare, or as Algernon in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST with Highview Arts Center. They’ve stage managed for various companies in and around Louisville, like Ideas xLab, Company Outcast, Teatro Tecera Llamada, Hayswood Theatre, and LFL. She’s also been a teaching artist with LFL and Kentucky Shakespeare. When not on or off the stage, they enjoy hanging out with their cat, Pumpkin, or playing D&D with friends. Rachel would like to thank their partner Max for putting up with her shenanigans, their friends, and LFL.
Ensemble
Rocket first became involved with LFL through the 2022 joint production of THE MOTH AND THE MASKED MAN with Clarity Hagan, whose writing they have been editing since they were both 14 years old. Rocket has a particular love for devised pieces and pieces created by queers for queers and they are thrilled to be a part of this process, though they wish we could be performing around an actual firepit. When not eating during rehearsal, they can be found playing D&D with fellow theater gays or kayaking on the Blue River and frankly not much else, as they are an elusive creature whose brain was not designed to park cars or be on time.
Props Designer
Jake Rosenberger is a lifelong Louisville resident, mainly due to a fear of planes, and is excited to join Looking for Lilith to wrap up this season with a bang behind the scenes for DEFINING INFINITY. He has been seen as an actor and director at Highview Arts Center. He is heading up his own sketch comedy show THE HACKS this summer.
Projections Designer, Graphics, Photographer & Videographer
Holly is the Creative Communications Director of LFL and is celebrating her 12th year as a company member. Past LFL credits include THE KENTUCKY SUFFRAGE PROJECT (Research Co-Director/Videographer &; Editor), GOOD GRIEF (Videographer & Editor), JUST LIKE US (Scenic Designer), DEFINING INFINITY (Touring Set Designer), THE PATRON SAINT OF LOSING SLEEP (Projections Designer), CROSSING MOUNTAINS (Touring Set Designer), LEGACY OF LIGHT (Set & Props Co-Designer) and PREVAILING WINDS (Projections Designer/Research Co-Director). Holly spent 15 seasons with KY Shakespeare and has been working in and around the Louisville theatre community for over 30 years as an administrator, scenic artist & designer, projections designer, house manager, stage manager, production manager and actor. Holly studied Visual Art and Theatre at the Youth Performing Arts School/duPont Manual, Louisville Visual Art Association, Young Actors’ Institute, KY Shakespeare’s Apprentice program, and Wright State University’s Theatre Design and Technology Program.
Lily
Vidalia Unwin is a playwright, comedian, and sometimes actor. Her full-length plays include DOMESTICATE, PUNK SNOT, @CON, and THE CURSE OF THE BLUE MOOSE (co-written with Lex Mitchell). She recently co-wrote THE CURIOUS CASE OF DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HOLMES for Wayward Actors Company, which won Best Play for a script by a Louisville Writer for the 2024 Arts-Louisville Theatre Awards. Vidalia has been a member of the Derby City Playwrights, as well as the Louisville-based sketch group, “Sketchy Stuff”. She can frequently be seen doing something silly on stage at Planet of the Tapes. She is very excited to return to working with the wonderful folks of Looking for Lilith, and she bets that you’ll never guess what type of chips she’s eating.
Lighting Designer
Tom is a stage designer from Central Kentucky. Memorable designs include Blackbird Dance Theatre's ROBANDO, On The Verge's A DOLL’S HOUSE, PART 2, Athens West Theatre Company's 33 VARIATIONS and TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, Transylvania University Theater's ANGELS IN AMERICA PART ONE: MILLENNIUM APPROACHES and VIETNAM 101: THE WAR ON CAMPUS, Looking for Lilith's world premieres of LUZ and ALICE IN BLACK AND WHITE, and UK Opera Theatre's SILENT NIGHT. He holds a BA in Drama from the University of Kentucky, College of Fine Arts. Willisdesigns.net.
Baby Pearson
Baby Augie, a native to Louisville and life-long actor, is thrilled to make his LFL debut. He began his career as Mary Shelley's baby in Frankenstein. He quickly rose to fame and was cast as Baby Jesus in Butterfinger Angel. When Augie is not on stage, he's busy honing his craft and taking naps. Thanks to Meg C for being the best co-parent.
