Marie - The Green Book Wine Club Train Trip

Adama is excited about their performance in THE GREEN BOOK WINE CLUB TRAIN TRIP. Adama is a Boston native living in Louisville. LFL works include COMMON THREADS: PORTRAITS OF A PANDEMIC, FROM BARDSTOWN TO BROADWAY: THE ROAD TO VOTES FOR WOMEN, NOTE, DEFINING INFINITY, and WE.ARE.HERE. They are also currently on the Devising Team for expanding and revising DEFINING INFINITY. Their previous performances with other companies include: SWEAT, AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY (Ivy), THE MOTH AND THE MASKED MAN (The Wanderer), ENTER GHOST (Ophelia), THE LEGEND OF GEORGIA MCBRIDE (Jo), and THE CAKE (Macy).

Tiera Bowman (she/her)

Saige | Lucy - The Green Book Wine Club Train Trip

Tiera Bowman has been with LFL since she was in high school and officially became a company member after she graduated from NKU where she received a Bachelor’s of Theatre Arts in 2017. Not only is she a company member, but she is also a teaching artist, actor, deviser and more. She's been involved in CHOICES, MAC’S WORLD, KENTUCKY SUFFRAGE PROJECT, COMMON THREADS and our upcoming show THE LIFECYCLE OF A BLACKBERRY. You also may have seen her at Locust Grove interpreting the lives of the enslaved that lived there in the past.

Dawn Campbell (she/her)

Miep Gies - The Helpers

Dawn Campbell holds an MA in Theatre Studies (Fontbonne University, MO) and a BS in Theatre Performance (University of Evansville, IN). A Kentucky native, but recently moving back home from Las Vegas, she is an arts educator and side-gig Choreographer/Director/Movement Coach. She is a returning LFL Company Member and can’t wait to pick up her work again with this amazing theatre ensemble. Favorite show credits (onstage and off) include: INTO THE WOODS; URINETOWN! THE MUSICAL; THE YELLOW BOAT; FABRIC, FLAMES AND FERVOR: GIRLS OF THE TRIANGLE; BEYOND THE BLUE MOUNTAINS; THE TEMPEST; BECOMING MOTHERS; and PETER PAN. Thank you to her loving, supportive family – especially the little MnMs that fill her heart (and drive her crazy) every day.

Sara Canary (she/her)

Adlawolfa | Elli Vossen (Bep Voskuijl) | Alfie Cohen - The Helpers

Sara is an actor, stage manager, producer, props master, deviser, company member and the new Board Chair at LFL! As a dedicated member of LFL since 2002, she stage managed all the original productions from 2002-2007, when she then moved to IL! Over the years she came home to work on various shows. In 2012 Sara acted in 10 YEARS, 7 STORIES and BECOMING MOTHERS. She reprised her role in the 2013 production of BECOMING MOTHERS. At the 15th Anniversary Festival Sara was honored to portray May Stone in CROSSING MOUNTAINS! In 2021 Sara wrote, filmed, acted and edited the short story CLEANING CLOSETS AND FINDING MYSELF as part of COMMON THREADS: INTERWOVEN PORTRAITS OF A PANDEMIC. She also acted in the film for HIGH SCHOOL REUNION: PANDEMIC STYLE and was in the audio cast for FILLING IN THE HOLES. Sara finally moved back to KY in fall of ‘22!

Caisey Cole (she/her)

Caisey is SO honored to bring Michelle’s words to life, as one of her last productions of a very busy 2023. Thank you to everyone who referred, cheered, did a favor for, or even thought of Caisey this year to get her to work. As Beyonce says, YOU are the visuals. Jacob Cooper (he/him/his)

Otto Frank - The Helpers

Jacob's previous work with LFL was as a deviser on the original work DEFINING INFINITY. He is seen most regularly on stage with Pandora Productions, most recently as Perry in LOVE, VALOUR, COMPASSION! Other Pandora credits include DOT, TORCH SONG, HARBOR, and the MY BIG GAY ITALIAN series. Here in Louisville, he has also had the pleasure of working with Liminal Playhouse (EDWARD GANT'S AMAZING FEATS OF LONELINESS), The Bard's Town (THE NIGHTMAN COMETH, THE COWARD), The Chicken Coop Theatre, Louisville Repertory Theatre, Eve Theatre, and Derby City Playwrights.

Stacey Louise Hopson (she/her)

Lynn | Bertha - The Green Book Wine Club Train Trip

Stacey Louise Hopson, born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, made her stage and acting debut in KING HEDLEY II as Ruby with Smoked Apple Theater Group. This US Army Veteran is always happy to return to the stage and looks forward to portraying many more challenging roles. Stacey has since done costumer/prop artisan/backstage work with Bunbury Theatre and Smoked Apple Theater Group, performances with Shakespeare for Veterans, a memorable role for Louisville's own legendary Larry Muhammad, works with Looking for Lilith, the Ain't I Woman Playfest Theatre and completed a film with Brand Old Productions of Cincinnati named "75" on Prime TV. She has a Bachelor's of Cardiopulmonary Science from U of L and is by nature a Registered Nurse. It is her number one objective to create a unique identity to her characters now and with any future opportunities. She has found working on live shows very challenging and thrilling.

Simon Isham (he/him/his)

Jan Gies - The Helpers

Although Simon does not identify as an actor, he performed in his debut role this summer in the world premiere SH’MA Theatre production of EGYPTLAND, alongside Karole Spangler, who is directing this production of THE HELPERS. Like EGYPTLAND, THE HELPERS is so meaningful for Simon because he is passionate about Jewish education, and bringing the stories of Jews and Jewish allies to life. Simon is married to Yehudah Jai Husband — who very much does identify as an actor — and they have one daughter.

Ebony Jordan (she/her)

Toni | Henrietta - The Green Book Wine Club Train Trip

Ebony Jordan is a Louisville based actor and teaching artist whose theatrical home is Looking for Lilith, where she’s also a company member. She has worked for other companies such as Stage One Theatre, Kentucky Shakespeare, Commonwealth Theatre Center, Josephine Sculpture Park, Theatre [502], and Faith Works Studios. Past productions include FOR COLORED GIRLS WHO HAVE CONSIDERED SUICIDE WHEN THE RAINBOW IS ENUF (Faith Works), LAWBREAKERS (Stage One), THE PATRON SAINT OF LOSING SLEEP, and CLASS OF ‘70 (Looking for Lilith).

Jennifer Thalman Kepler (she/her)

Jo Koophuis (Johannes Kleiman) | Mrs Stoppelman - The Helpers

Jennifer is a LFL Co-founder and Co-Artistic Director, as well as an actor, director, devising director, and teaching artist. She has performed in CROSSING MOUNTAINS, WHAT MY HANDS HAVE TOUCHED, CLASS OF ’70 (2004, 2013), FABRIC FLAMES AND FERVOR, BEYOND THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, 10 YEARS, 7 STORIES, GETTING OUT, LUZ, CAREFULLY TAUGHT and JUST LIKE US. Jennifer originated the role of Alice Austin in ALICE IN BLACK AND WHITE in both Louisville and New York. Jennifer has served as devising director for WHAT MY HANDS HAVE TOUCHED and WE. ARE. HERE. and as devising/production director for CHOICES, BECOMING MOTHERS, and THE KENTUCKY SUFFRAGE PROJECT. She also directs the devising process with young people and develops curriculum through LFL’s GirlSpeak program and in-school residencies as well as directs LFL’s Guatemala partnership.

Karole Spangler (she/her)

Director - The Helpers

A company member, this is Karole’s first time directing at LFL. Some LFL productions Karole has acted in include CROSSING MOUNTAINS, THE HOUSE OF BERNARDA ALBA, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN, LEGACY OF LIGHT, FABRIC, FLAMES & FERVOR, GETTING OUT, CLASS OF ‘70, and MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. She was most recently seen in COMMON THREADS. Other Louisville shows include UNEXPECTED JOY, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, and TORCHSONG for Pandora Productions, GOING UP HOME, GLORIA, and 20TH CENTURY BLUES for Eve Theatre, EXHUMED for The Louisville Fringe Festival, DOMESTICATE for the Kentucky Playwrights, and, most recently, EGYPTLAND for Sh’Ma Theatre Productions. Over her professional career, Karole acted in, directed, or stage-managed productions in 15 states, including Alaska. She holds an MFA from the University of Wisconsin. Holly Stone (she/they)

Calliope (Stage Directions) - The Helpers

Holly is the Creative Communications Director of LFL and is celebrating her 10th year as a company member. Past staged readings with LFL include various roles in THE CANDLE BURNS ON (20th Anniversary Event), Molly in Haydee Canovas’ MOLLY DRIVEN (15th Anniversary UNHEARD/OUTLOUD Festival) and Stage Directions for PREVAILING WINDS, in which she was also Research Co-Director and Projections Designer. Other favorite LFL credits include THE KENTUCKY SUFFRAGE PROJECT (Research Co-Director & Videographer/Editor), GOOD GRIEF (Videographer/Editor), and JUST LIKE US (Scenic Designer). Holly spent 15 seasons with KY Shakespeare and has been working in and around the Louisville theatre community for over 30 years as an administrator, graphic designer, photographer, videographer, projections designer, scenic artist & designer, house manager, stage manager, production manager - and occasionally - an actor. Holly has studied Art and Theatre at the Youth Performing Arts School/duPont Manual, Louisville Visual Art Association, and Wright State University’s Theatre Design & Technology Program.

Jane Embry Watts (she/her)

Aliens Officer | The Stranger | Mr. Richter | Karl Silberburg - The Helpers

Jane Embry (JE) has worked with Lilith for the past 8 years and is thrilled to be back in action with her favorite people. A few of the shows that LFL audiences have seen her in are AS IT IS IN HEAVEN, SIDEWINDERS, and WE.ARE.HERE. Jane Embry graduated from WKU with a BA in Theatre and Dance and has performed from New Orleans to New York. JE recently had her first surfing lesson and fell in love with the art of the sport. She’s planning a trip to Hawaii to study technique and catch some Pacific waves.

Morgan M. Younge (she/her)

Director - The Green Book Wine Club Train Trip

Morgan has been an active member of the Louisville theatre community. Morgan considers herself a Theatre Professional: her craft includes costume designing, writing, directing and teaching artistry. After commiting to becoming a full time teaching artist, she has taught with several local companies including StageOne Family Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Looking for Lilith Theatre Company, Redline Performing Arts and Drama by George. Recently, Morgan was awarded a grant from the Fund for the Arts to produce a summer camp of her original script Hip Hop Herc (October 2023). In addition to her Teaching Artistry, Morgan's acting credits include: Aunt Franny in DON’T TELL ME I CAN’T FLY (StageOne Family Theatre); Truvy in STEEL MAGNOLIAS (Faith Works Studios) A Sista in SAY HER NAME: BREONNA TAYLOR (Berea College Theatre Laboratory); Maybelle in BEFORE IT HITS HOME (The Griot Project); and June in GOOD GRIEF with Looking for Lilith, where she also is a company member.
