This year, we began a collaboration with the Latina Women's group of Eastern Area Community Ministries. LFL bilingual teaching artists met monthly with the group to use applied theatre to explore personal experiences and challenges participants faced as immigrant women. They created scenes to share amongst themselves, even presenting them at their holiday parties a couple of times. They were proud to present the culmination of several years of this work in the form of a bilingual Staged Readind at our 15th anniversary festival in 2017. This partnership continued for many years and we will be forever grateful for all we shared during those years.
