Reflecting the multicultural nature of Louisville, playwright Canovas takes on the harrowing stories of Human Trafficking, looking at it from the points of view of the victims, the social workers and professionals who work in this field. The reading features Judith Gonzalez Leyva, Dana Hope, Ebony Jordan, April Singer, Holly Stone, and Ryan Watson; stage directions read by Dawn Campbell. The one-time reading will be followed by an opportunity to talk with the playwright.
