THE ANCESTORS PROJECT
COMMUNITY WORKSHOP

Use the past to create in the present in this evolving community arts project based on the stories of ancestors who have inspired and guided us.

Wednesday, July 22 | 1:00p - 4:00p
Ages 65+

Harvey Browne Presbyterian Church
311 Browns Lane, Louisville, KY 40207

Each participant is asked to fill out a consent form and bring with them a photograph* and story of an ancestor that is important to them. LFL facilitators will lead participants in theatre, visual art, and writing activities to bring their ancestors' stories to life. No prior arts experience is needed for participation.

LFL defines "ancestor" as anyone who has come before you who has informed in some way the person that you are.

*If no photograph is available, participants can bring a memento or other meaningful object connected to that ancestor.
