2025 SUMMER DRAMA CAMPS
LFL's Summer Drama programs are a gentle introduction to theatre and drama, incorporating life skills, teamwork, imagination building and social justice themes in a fun and supportive environment. Our professional teaching artists guide participants in dramatic play, devising, and theatrically sharing their discoveries by using the same tools and techniques we use in our original productions.
SUMMER DRAMA CAMP PARENT FAQ GUIDE
We’re excited to have your child join us for a fun, engaging, and creative experience. Below are answers to common questions to help you prepare.
Does my child need to have previous drama or theatre experience to participate in this camp?
No prior theatre experience is required—just a willingness to have fun and be creative!

-
- Morning warm-ups and team-building activities
- Snack and break time
- Acting, movement, and creative workshops

What are the drop-off and pick-up procedures?
Parents/guardians must sign their child in and out each day. If someone other than a parent/guardian is picking up, please notify us in advance.
Drop-off begins 10 minutes before camp start time. Parents must stay with camper if they arrive earlier than drop-off start time.
Please pick up campers promptly at camp end time. After a 10 minute grace period, families will be charged $1 per minute when they are late.
What should my child bring to camp each day?
- Comfortable clothing for movement
- Closed-toe shoes
- A water bottle
- A nut-free lunch
- Any necessary medications (with signed permission form)
What if my child has allergies or medical needs?
Please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or medications your child may need. Our staff is trained to handle basic medical needs (bandaids, cold compress, etc), and emergency contacts will be called if necessary.
What is your policy on behavior and discipline?
We foster a respectful and inclusive environment. If behavior concerns arise, we will communicate with parents and work together on solutions. Persistent issues may result in dismissal from camp without a refund.
What happens if my child needs to miss a day or leave early?
If your child will be absent or needs to leave early, please inform us in advance. We understand that conflicts arise and will do our best to accommodate. LFL does not prorate tuition due to missed days.
Are meals or snacks provided, or should my child bring their own?
Campers should bring their own nut-free lunch and reusable water bottle with them each day. Snacks are provided. Pizza is provided on the last day of camp. We will have water stations for refills.
How can I contact camp staff during the day if needed?
